Wow! Our Christmas Tapestry concert last Saturday was quite the Christmas event! St George’s Jesmond is a super venue for a concert, and a beautiful setting. Here, a fantastic atmosphere was created, characterised by magical lighting, which really made the church look spectacular, especially the roof of the chancel! The church was full; our best ever number of online sales, and a crowd at the door! Everyone enjoyed a festive evening of joyful carols and seasonal readings; some said that it was the best Cappella concert ever! There were so many fantastic moments; the choir moved seamlessly round the space to provide a programme of excitement and variety in several languages!

Afterwards, choir and audience mingled with a glass or two of mulled wine and a selection of homemade Nordic bakes.

Happy Christmas Everyone!
